Accreditation

FCBI is a Christian institution of higher learning, designed to equip students for the work of the ministry. FCBI seeks to provide students with a thorough and comprehensive Christian higher education and the opportunity to develop a strong commitment and devotion to the Lord. Currently, FCBI operates as a vocational training insitute, focused on building anointed leaders within the Body of Christ. Part of the long-term strategic plan of Faith City Bible Institute includes satisfying the conditions of eligibility to pursue accreditation status.

Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE)

FCBI is an affiliate of the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), 5575 S. Semoran Blvd., Suite 26, Orlando, FL 32822-1781. (www.abhe.org) FCBI’s affiliate status is not to be confused with accreditation. The Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) is recognized as a national accrediting agency by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), the successor of the Council on Postsecondary Education (COPA) and subsequently the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation (CORPA).

Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC)

FCBI has filed for an exempt status with the Maryland Higher Education Commission.
