All "Way's" Cookin has served satisfied clients the DMV since 2006. Waynette is affectionately known by many Alexandria, VA natives as “Way”.
Waynette grew an early interested in the kitchen with her grandmother and great grandmother as they picked fresh herbs out of the garden to prepare meals for their big family.
She witnessed the craft of her elders’ preparing meals. When she was growing up, Waynette prepared family meals for her siblings while her mom worked two jobs. She is the oldest of four siblings. As a young adult, Waynette’s culinary interest grew, as she then started preparing meals for her girlfriends and at small events, which ignited their taste buds and rapidly increased requests for her special culinary skills.
All Way’s Cookin was birthed from sitting at the table with her girlfriends who were enjoying one of her meals. They fondly named her business ‘All Way’s Cookin.’ She learned how to use the freshest of ingredients from the gardens of her grandmother and great grandmother which is the basis of her culinary style. Waynette is a self-taught chef, and gained additional culinary training in Washington, D.C.
Her clients have included: State and Federal government agencies, Spirit of Faith Christian Center, Spirit of Faith Bible Institute, serving clients with restricted diets, holiday events, sorority and fraternity events, weddings and many more. Chef Way prides herself on serving other and showing love in the form of a plate.
Her work has been featured on WJLA Channel 7 (ABC), and WTTG Fox 5. Chef Way has been a staple on the new morning segment Lion Lunch hour on Fox 5.
